Judith Elaine (Jones) McGinnis

Judith E. McGinnis, 65 of Paducah, KY formerly of Metropolis, IL passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Clinton Place Nursing Home in Clinton, KY.

Judith formerly worked for the Illinois Department of Corrections.

She is survived by her two siblings, Scott (Patricia) Jones of Benton, KY and Karen Arnold of Metropolis, IL; Nieces, Jessica (Josh) Bowman, Ashley (Josh) Britton, and Megan Arnold.  Nephews, Matt Jones and Dillon Jones.  4 great-nieces, Emma Bowman, Isabella Britton, Lily Dara and Nalanie Dara.  Three great-nephews, Wyatt Bowman, Marshall Britton and Khonsu Dara.  In addition, several aunts, uncle and cousins.  Step-sister, Sharon LaGore (Alvin), Brian and family.  Past sister-in-law, but more like a sister, Pam McGinnis Turner.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents, James E. Jones and Barbara (Wallace) Stratemeyer (Step-father Lavern).  Paternal grandparents, Mallory and Allie (Grey) Jones and Maternal grandparents Scott and Vida (Beck) Wallace. As well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She will be cremated and no service is planned per her wishes.
