Karen Hinkle

Karen “Katy” Hinkle died at 5:01 a.m. Saturday morning.

She was a devoted partner, mother, nana, daughter and sister and was truly an inspiration to us all.

She leaves behind her loving partner, Mischelle Vowels; one son, Michael Hinkle and his wife, Eva and grandson, Dustin Snow-Hinkle; two daughters, Melissa Long of Michigan and Jenifer Evitts and granddaughter Abigail Evitts, both of Mayfield; her mother, Jessie Lusty; and two brothers, Michael Long and wife Donna, and John Long.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Long, and brothers, Paul Long and Roger Long.

There are no services or visitation scheduled. However, the family plans to coordinate a private memorial service at a later date. Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
