Karen Royalty, 66, of Paducah died at 1 a.m. Monday at her residence.
She was a member of the VFW #1191 and a member of the American Legion Post #31, both in Paducah.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Robin Ritter of Salem and Angie Mynatt Gainey of Evansville, Ind.; 2 grandchildren, Paige Gainey and Devon Hoehn, both of Evansville; 1 sister, Darlene Edwards of Largo, Fla.; and 1 niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Earl and Lillie Gwendolyn Howe Burklow; and 1 brother, Terry Booker.
Memorial visitation will be 12 noon-2 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2010, at Lindsey Funeral Home.
