Karon Lynn Cline, 76, of Marion, Illinois, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
Karon was a woman of many talents and a heart full of love. Throughout her life, she worked in various places, always bringing her dedication and strong work ethic to every role. She cherished her children, Phillip and Kimberly, and was immensely proud of them. Her love extended beyond her immediate family, as she adored her nieces and nephews, treating them as if they were her own. Karon was a creative spirit, constantly experimenting with new recipes and sharing her culinary creations with her loved ones. Whether she was crafting in her kitchen or working the fields on the family farm, she did everything with a sense of joy and a song in her heart. Her humor had the power to lighten up any room, regardless of the situation.
Karon is survived by her loving husband, Malcom Cline; her children, Phillip Cline and Kimberly Cline (husband Clayton Hanks); her beloved granddaughter, Emma Hanks; her sister, Joyce Tyler; and many other extended family members and friends whom she held dear.
Preceding Karon in death are her parents, Aaron and Opal Lyerla; and her siblings, Freddie Lyerla, Aaron Y. Lyerla, Bertha Lee Jordan, Theron Lyerla, and Bernadean Peterson.
