Lance Colin Long

Lance Colin Long, 52, of Paducah passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah. 

Lance worked in construction, as a mechanic, and a carpenter. He loved spending time with his friends and doing special projects.

Surviving is his son, C.J. Colin John Long; his mother, Sherry Justice; six sisters, Julie Houston, Kristy Greenwood, Brandy Sullivan, Danielle Swartz, Jamie VanBokel, Jodie Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Sobczak.

Memorial graveside services will be at 4:30pm on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Bethlehem Cemetery in Cunningham. Following the services will be a meal at the Community Center located at 6540 US 62 Cunningham, KY.

Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
