Biography

Larry Cotten, 71, of Metropolis, IL., died Monday evening, October 5th, 2015, at Baptist Health of Paducah. Mr. Cotten was a retired truck driver and a member of the Teamsters Union, and St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church of Metropolis, IL.
He is survived by his wife, Rita; two daughters, Laurie Swick of Metropolis and Candi Caudle of Grand Chain IL.; one son, Joe Cotten of Batavia, IL.; three sisters, Marilyn Reyelts of Watertown, S.D., Sandy Knox of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Linda Morton of Milbank, S.D.; one granddaughter; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Etta Arff Cotten; one brother, Merwin Cotten and two infant brothers, David and Ronald.
A funeral mass will be held for Mr. Cotton on Saturday morning, October 10th, 2015, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Metropolis, IL.
Memorial contributions in his name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
