Larry Mathis

Larry Mathis, 80, of Paducah passed away Sunday at Baptist Health of Paducah.

Mr. Mathis was a Korean War Air Force Veteran, member of the V.F.W., past president of the Association of General Contractors, and a member of Father’s House of Paducah.

He is survived by his wife, Dessie Lynn Mathis of Paducah, two daughters, Dana and Diane; Dana’s family, son in law Robert Gardner, granddaughter Stephanie Gardner, grandson Larry Gardner, and great grandson Avery, all of North Carolina; Diane’s family, grandson Tyler Webb and wife Lindsey, and great grandchildren Keaton, Beau, and Addyson of Kevil; granddaughter McCall and husband Ryan Wagner and great granddaughter McNally of Paducah; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, L.L. Mathis, Eula Wells, and Elmer “Cotton” Miller; and his beloved puppies.

Visitation will be Tuesday at Lindsey Funeral home from 1 to 3pm. Funeral Service will be at 3pm with Alvin Moore officiating. A private family Entombment will follow.
