Laura Vick, 56 died on Saturday April 29, 2017.  She was member of Fountain Avenue United Methodist church where she was a long-term Choir member and Sunday School Teacher.  She also sang with the singing group Kantorei.

She is survived by husband, Steve Vick; two daughters, Bethany (Brandon) and grandson Gabriel Tagarook of Louisville and Olivia Vick of Paducah; her mother Elizabeth Honeycutt of Bowling Green; Three sisters, Charlotte McLain (Charles) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Christine Hanshaw (Bill) of Bowling Green, Emily Barnes (Karen) of Bowling Green; mother-in-law and father-in-law John and Betty Vick of Paducah, and a sister-in-law Jean Crawford (Dennis) of Murray and brother-in-law Wayne Medlin of Lugoff, South Carolina and eight nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Reese Honeycutt of Bowling Green, Kentucky and a sister, Phyllis Medlin (Wayne) of Lugoff, South Carolina.

Visitation will be at Fountain Avenue United Methodist Church on Saturday May 6th from 11 a.m. until Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.  The memorial service time will begin at 1:00.  Rev. Sara Tate and Eddie Smith will be officiating the service.  Burial will be at the Elliott Cemetery in Polkville, North Carolina at a later date.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to go to the Choir fund at Fountain Avenue United Methodist Church at 300 Fountain Avenue, Paducah, KY. 42003
