Larry Hampel of Murray died on Saturday February 22, 2014 at the VA John Cochran Medical Center in St. Louis, MO.
Mr. Hampel was retired from the United States Marine Corps, a member of First United Methodist Church in Murray, and a member of the American Legion.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Hampel of Murray; one son, John Hampel of Spring Creek, NV; two daughters, Debra Patrick of New Concord, KY, Dixie Hampel of Murray; one sister; six grandchildren; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by one grandson. His parents were Roy and Orpha Hampel.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Cremation Society of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
