Lawrence E. LeNeave, 87 of Lone Oak died Wednesday, January 22nd, 2014 at 3:19am at Baptist health in Paducah.
A WWII Navy veteran, he is survived by his wife of 67 years Marie LeNeave, two daughters; Shirley Bauermeister (Joe) of Calvert City and Julie Golightly (Mike) of Paducah, one brother; J.W. LeNeave (Linda) of Nashville, Tn., four grandchildren; Michael Golightly Jr. (Michele) and Chris Golightly of Paducah, LeeAnn Roca (Frank) of Los Angeles, Ca., and Shawnn Welde (Charley) of Oklahoma City, Ok. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren; Alec Golightly, Ansley Golightly, Brynn Welde and Raven Welde.
He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Elsie LeNeave and three brothers.
Visitation will be Friday January 24th from 5 to 8pm at Lindsey Funeral Home. Graveside services including military honors will be Saturday, January 25th at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum starting at 11am with David Godfrey Officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum..
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tn.
Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
