Leon Herndon, 62, of Paducah died on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Herndon was a retired laborer member of Local #1214.
Surviving is his wife, Jennie Herndon of Paducah; three sons, Kevin Herndon of Paducah, Corey Herndon of Paducah, Daniel Ford of Paducah; one daughter, Maegan Muso of Benton; one brother, Ronnie Herndon of Possum Trot; one sister, Teresa Riley of Paducah; ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Abner Herndon and Rose Mary Hall Herndon.
Memorial services will be at 6:00pm on Thursday, September 17, 2015at the Church of Jesus Christ located at 4225 Benton Rd. with the Pastor Patricia Sallee officiating.
Friends may call from 3:00pm to service hour on Thursday at the church.
