Linda Nanny Edwards, 68 of Paducah passed away at 1:17 am Friday, January 20th at Western Baptist Hospital.
Linda, known affectionately as Nanny, was a retired dog groomer and kennel owner for over 30 years. She raised four children and was a devoted grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her dogs, as well as all animals.
Surviving are two daughters, Robin Johnson of Beaver Dam and Larra Ortiz of Orinda, CA; one son, Kyle D. Edwards of Paducah; one brother, Fred Johnston of Florida; seven grandchildren, Jessica Bowling of Paducah, Katie Pirie of California, Corey Joiner of Nashville, Kylee Edwards of Paducah, Cole and Jake Ortiz of Orinda, CA, and Tara Wahl of Paducah; and three great grandchildren, Lea and Miles Bowling and Kyra Parker.
She was preceded in death by one son, Daniel H. Edwards, and one sister, Barbara Simmons. Her parents were Harold and Juanita Johnston.
Memorial services at American Legion Post 31 are planned for next week, with time and day to be announced. Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
