Linda M. Williams, 72, of Paducah died Tuesday morning at 4:39 a.m. at Western Baptist Hospital.
Williams worked as a nurse at St. Joseph Hospital of Tucson, Ariz., and later at Lifecare Hospital of Paducah before giving up her career to devote her time to homemaking. She was a member of Victory Assembly Worship Center of Paducah.
Williams is survived by four daughters, Mary Gale Bowler of Durant, Okla., Wanda Sue Freeman of Russellville, Linda Kay Kriesky of Benton, and Phyllis Ann Lovelace of Sharpe; six grandchildren, Justin Craig Bowler of Durant, Okla., Kristen Nichole Currie of Camby, Ore., Preston Wayne Edmonds of Paducah, Katy Kriesky of Benton, Christy Redden Mann of Russellville, and Christopher Scott McManus of Tacoma, Wash.; four great-grandchildren, Lance and Presley Edmonds of Paducah, and Dale and Joe Mann of Russellville; and three half-sisters, Janie Groeneveld and Maudie Moore, both of Union City, Tenn., and Judy Smith of Valparaiso, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester O. and Mary Elizabeth Harrellson Ward; her husband, Noland C. Williams; one son, Richard Vernon McManus of Jacksonville, Fla.; and one brother, Michael Edwards of Paducah.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Lindsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
