Linda Sue (Burkhart) Yates

Linda Sue Yates, 80, of Paducah passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Baptist Health Paducah.

Linda worked for Paducah Water Works before becoming a fulltime homemaker and mother. She loved gardening and painting.

Surviving is her daughter, Amy (Richard) Page of Grand Rivers; one brother, Larry “Buddy” Burkhart of Louisiana; two granddaughters, Natalie Gill of Melber and Katie Copeland of Jackson, MO; seven great-grandchildren, Elijah Ford, Macie Gill, Bryce Gill, Emma Ford, Cohen Renfrew, Wyatt Ford, and Cagen Willis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Yates; her daughter, Lisa Winters; one granddaughter, Emilie Ford; her parents, Larry and Blanche Burkart; and one niece, Gretchen Campbell.

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Troy Newcomb officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 12:00pm to service hour on Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Marshall County Humane Society.
