Loetta Jeanette (Bennett) Givens

Loetta Bennett Givens, 77, of Paducah died on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Mrs. Givens worked as a housekeeper and a homemaker. She was a member of Broadway Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children, Rose Langston of Smithland, Franklin Dave Langston Jr. of Brookport, Tommy Allen (Erin) Langston of Munford, TN, and James Edward Givens Jr. of Paducah; three sisters, Linda Reed of Paducah, Tina Apperson of Kevil, and Gina Morgan of Boaz; two brothers, Ricky Griffith of Paducah and Daniel Bennett of Texas; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Givens Sr; one son, Ronald Dale Langston; one sister; one brother; and one grandson. Her parents were Leo Bennett and Zelma Johnson Bennett.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Dr. Dan Owen officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Tuesday at the funeral home.
