Louis W. Ramirez

Louis W. Ramirez, 74, of Paducah, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. He was a master electrician for the IBEW Local 816 Union in Paducah.

Louis is survived by his wife, Joyce Ramirez; three children, Markey Ramirez, Sarah (Josue) Lira, and Michelle (Shawn) Edwards; seven siblings; Elodia (Paul) Holzbaur, Erminia Hampton, Roberto (Nancy) Ramirez, Johnny (Verna) Ramirez, Domitila (Steve) O’Guinn, Gregorio (Margaret) Ramires, and Cesilia (Tom) Kelpe; eight grandchildren, Wesley (Kaitlin) Edwards, Erik Lira, Will Edwards, Joseph Ramirez, Monica Lira, Cori Ramirez, Liliana Lira, and Diego Lira; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Preceding Louis in death are his parents, Gregorio and Mercedes Ramirez; one sister, Lucina Kaup; one brother, Tommy Ramirez; and his beloved chihuahua, Stevie.

A Celebration of Life for Louis will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to St. Jude's or to the McCracken County Humane Society.
