Lucy Roach
October 29, 1910 — December 23, 2009
Lucy Lee Roach, 99, of Benton died at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday at Britthaven Nursing Home of Benton.
Mrs. Roach was a homemaker and member of Kirksey Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Earl Roach of Mayfield and Charles Chuck Roach of Benton; one sister, Gracie Lee Smith of Kirksey; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Olis O. Roach; three sons, infant James Henry Roach, Jimmie Ray Roach and Kenneth Wayne Roach; one brother; and one sister. Her parents were William Henry and Sarah Wyatt Byerly.
Services will be at noon Saturday at Lindsey Funeral Home with David Brasher officiating. Burial will be at Wyatt Cemetery in Calloway County.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
