Lula Belle Puckett, 96, of Clinton passed away on Wednesday December 13, 2017 at Clinton Hickman County ICF Nursing Facility.
Mrs. Puckett was a retired seamstress and retired again at age 91 as the director of the Clinton Mission House. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Clinton and formerly a member at the Oakwood United Methodist Church in Clinton.
She loved being around people, reading, and doing crafts.
Surviving are two children, Johnny (Jeanine) Puckett of Fancy Farm and Debra Parker of Clinton; seven grandchildren, Leanna Wilkerson of Clinton, Tara (Troy) Ferguson of Wingo, Jarrett (Amy) Puckett of St. Louis, Jordan Puckett of Fancy Farm, Aaron Parker of Clinton, Lowell Parker of Paducah, and Lee Puckett of Columbus; five great-grandchildren, Richli Wilkerson, Cody Ferguson, Dustin Ferguson, Jack Puckett, and Olivia Puckett; and one great-great-granddaughter, Christina Belle Puckett.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, William Carl Puckett; two sons, Richard Puckett and Jerry Wayne Puckett; two brothers, Gilbert Baker and Tom Baker; and two sisters, Betty Caldwell and Ruth Henrichon. Her parents were John Roy Baker and Lucy Brinkley Baker
Memorial services will be 7:00pm on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Oakwood United Methodist Church located at 2238 State Route 123 Clinton, KY with the Rev. John Varden officiating.
Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm to service hour on Saturday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Oakwood United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund in C/O Eddie Roberts at 2265 Hickman Rd. Clinton, KY 42031.
