Lyn Hinchey Carroll, 66, of Paducah passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 at her residence.
Lyn was a retired hairdresser who formerly owned Yours, Mine & Ours. She was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served as a medic in a military hospital in Texas during the Vietnam War. She was a lifetime member of VFW, and of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are her two sisters, Kelly (Bob) Brandon of Paducah, Lori Bryant of Ledbetter; twelve nieces and nephews, Bill Warren, Eric Hinchey, Angie Crabtree and Kelly Fenwick all of Paducah, Gary Warren of Symsonia, April Hinchey and Aubrey Ray both of Ledbetter, Ben Crabtree of Cunningham, Keith Brandon of St. Charles, MO, and Regina Krepelan, Laura Malone, and Justin Hinchey all of Wisconsin; 36 great-nieces and nephews; eight great-great nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Hinchey and Dean Bomar Hinchey; one brother, Phillip Hinchey; two sisters, Pat Sparks and Carol Miller; one great nephew, Treston Oropeza; and one great niece, Tiffany Krepelan.
Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Lindsey Funeral Home. Prayers will take place at 6:30pm. Military rites will be rendered by the VFW at 7:00pm.
Funeral services will be private.
