Biography

Maaco Douglas Vogt, 26, of Paducah died Saturday, June 25th, 2016. Maaco loved basketball, especially the Chicago Bulls. Maaco loved turkey shooting, riding his four wheeler, and spending time with his Dad in their “mancave”. He most of all, loved his God and knew his Savior. Maaco was a member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church.

Maaco is survived by his daughter, Whitney Averitt of Paducah; his parents, David and Sharon Osborne Vogt; one sister, Hailey Lang of Paducah; grandparents, Patrick Osborne, Lolita and Joe Bowler, and Douglas and Sherree Ford, all of Paducah; great grandparents, Donald and Dorothy Shafter of Paducah; and several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Margaret and Gill Scheibe, Ava Reed, Walter Osborne, and Frank Shafter.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday, June 30th, 2016 at Lindsey Funeral Home from 11am until 2pm. Funeral Services start at 2pm following visitation with Rev. Fred Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
