Mable Reeder

December 24, 1916 — August 7, 2015

Biography Mable Jane Culp Reeder, 98, of Paducah, died Friday afternoon at Parkview Nursing and Rehab of Paducah. Mrs. Reeder was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother all of her life and loved her family and her pets very much. She was a homemaker for her family all her life.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Ray (Diane) Reeder of Paducah; three sisters, Louise Duarard of Detroit, Mich., Annie Norris of LaVergne, Tn., and Ina (John) Devine of Sharpe; three brothers, Paul (Clara) Culp of Sharpe, Raymond (Ellie) Culp of Sharpe, and Harlyn (Sharon) Culp of Sharpe; two granddaughters, Johnna (Darrell) Davenport of Kevil, and Ashley (Lee) Anderson of Benton; four great grandchildren, Wesley and Sydney Davenport of Kevil, and Owen and Eli Jane Anderson of Benton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Ray Reeder; her parents, Bennie “Bill” Gilbert and Elsie Lena Culp; two sisters, Mary Frances Culp and Margie Culp; and four brothers, Lee Culp, Verdie Culp, Rudy Culp, and Eugene Culp.
Friends may visit the family on Sunday August 9th, 2015 at Lindsey Funeral Home from 5pm until 8pm. Graveside services will be held Monday morning, August 10th, 2015 at Fooks Cemetery starting at 10am with Rev. Homer Fletcher officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tn. Or the American Diabetes Association of Alexandria Va.
