Margaret Carter

Margaret Young Carter, 84, passed away on Tuesday October 14, 2014 in Lexington, KY.
Margaret was born in Paducah; she was the daughter of Stewart A. & Maudle L. Young. She was a member of the Fountain Avenue Methodist Church in Paducah.
Survivors include two daughters, Diane (Dan) Abbot of Lexington, KY, Penny (Carl) Moses of Lexington, KY; two brothers, Robert (Hazel) Young, Dewey (Barbara) Young; eight grandchildren, Corey Patrick, Katie Patrick, Shannon Robinson, Amy Cornell, Ben Sanders, Audrey Sanders, Ally Moses, Grace Moses; and six great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Stewart “Bubba” Young; former husband, William E. Carter; two daughters, Cindy Carter Patrick, Nancy Carter Sanders.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Friday October 17th at Lindsey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.
