Margaret (York) Griffith

Margaret Griffith, 97, of Paducah passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Baptist Health Paducah.

Margaret formerly worked at the clothing factory and G&O Pharmacy Soda Fountain. She was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church. She loved spending time with family.

Surviving is her husband of 79 years, Johnnie Griffith Jr.; one son, Ronald (Brenda) Griffith; five grandchildren, Deanna (John) Bartlett, Bridget (Brad) Robertson, Jeff (Tiffany) Griffith, Heather (Kelly) Larkin, and Kym Guilford; 18 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hobart York and Wilma Thweatt York; two sons, Kenneth Griffith and Jimmy Griffith; and three siblings, Sarah Martin, Jane Bennett, and Ted York.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Brad Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Thursday at the funeral home.
