Margery Ann Borgerding Borgia, 45, of Paducah, died at home on Saturday, April 25th. She graduated in 1981 from Tilghman High School and was a lifelong member of First Christian Church. Ann was active, as a youth, in Girl Scouts Bear Creek Council, and later, as an adult, as a trainer for the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana Council. She was employed by Kroger.
Ann is survived by her children, Nathan Evan Borgia Bergeron, Melissa Christine Borgia, Leandra Kay Borgia; parents, Walter LeRoy Borgerding and Margery Borgerding of Paducah; sisters, Lynn Jaquith and husband Ted of Louisville, KY, Janet Murphy and partner Tim Trueblood of Sugar Land, TX, and Tracey Metcalf and husband Rodney of Las Vegas, NV; good friend and companion, Michael Bergeron and his daughter Emily Rose of Providence, KY; four nephews, two nieces, and a great-nephew also survive.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 on Tuesday and from 12 to 2 on Wednesday at Lindsey Funeral Home. Services will be at 2pm on Wednesday, April 29 with burial at Brooks Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jae Gottman officiating. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society or First Christian Church.
