Marie Merritt

Marie Merritt, 86, of Paducah died on Monday December 9, 2013 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.

Mrs. Merritt was a retired factory worker and member of Christ Community Church.

Surviving are one son, Gary Joe Williams of Paducah; four daughters, Linda Timmerman of St. Louis, Joyce Miller of Oklahoma, Susan Brown of Oklahoma, Wilma Helton-Williams of Paducah; and several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Merritt; and her parents, Clarence and Ula Riddle.

Memorial service will be at 3:00pm on Thursday at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Turner officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may call on Thursday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the funeral home.
