Marjorie Hawes

Marjorie J. Hawes, 94, of Metropolis died on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Misty Meadows Assisted Living.

Mrs. Hawes was a retired school teacher and member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

Surviving is one daughter, Beverly Bohus of Chicago, IL; one son, David Hawes of Fulton, IL; three grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Hawes. Her parents were and Roy Jennings and Gusta Cramblett.

Services will be held at a later date.
