Marlene (Reynolds) Smith

Marlene Reynolds Smith, 84, of Brookport, IL. passed away Saturday evening, October 13th, 2018 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah.

Marlene was born in New Liberty, IL. July 28, 1934. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ. Marlene was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Marlene is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Linn A. Smith of Brookport; four children, Martie Lea Smith Stewart of Brookport, Kenton Linn (Jennifer) Smith of Tiline, Margo Lane (Rick) Wiggs of Paducah, and Kemble Linn (Lisa) Smith of Brookport; eight grandchildren, Marlena Stewart Russell, Grant Smith, Whitney Smith-Taylor, Chase Wiggs, Cydney Wiggs, Kaitlinn Smith-Fort, Karsen Smith, and Konner Smith; and eight great grandchildren, Lakota Wiggs, Gracie Wiggs, Preston Smith, Weslee Taylor, Georgia Taylor, Kale Russell, Caden Wiggs, and Oliver Fort.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis H. Reynolds and Flora Mae Denson; and one brother, Ellis Wayne Reynolds.

Graveside services will be held starting at 11am at Pell Cemetery in Brookport, IL. on Tuesday, October 16th, 2018 with Charles Kilpatrick officiating.

There will be no visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
