Dr. Marshall R. King, age 59, of St. Louis City, Mo., formerly of Paducah, Ky. died Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at his home. Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at Schrader Funeral Home in Ballwin, Mo.
Dr. King was a longtime professor of political science at Maryville University in St. Louis, Mo.
Dr. King is survived by his mother, Velda King, two brothers, Mark King of Chicago, Il., and Glenn Reeder of Paducah, Ky.
Dr. King was preceded in death by his father, William King.
Visitation was held Monday, June 15, 2009 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah. Interment followed at Rosebower Cemetery.
Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah, Ky. and Schrader Funeral Home in Ballwin, Mo. was in charge of arrangements.
