Mary Charlesie Gentry Crouch, 88, of Paducah, Ky., formerly of McMinnville, TN., passed away on March 22, 2017 at her home in Paducah, KY.

She was born in Cookeville, TN. And graduated from Tennessee Polytechnical University with a degree in Home Economics. She worked for the University of Tennessee Extension Service, Warren County Welfare Department, Peach Co. (GA) Board of Education teaching first grade and then owned and operated an in home day care center.

Mrs. Crouch was an active member of the Episcopal Church where she served the church as a lay Eucharist visitor, a member of the altar guild, member of the vestry, as well as fellowship and other committees. At the time of her death she was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Paducah, KY.

Mrs. Crouch is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Torregrossa (Robert), Susan Pearsall, and Ann Davis (Ken); one son, Arthur Crouch (Suzanne); eight grandchildren, Mary Marguerite Torregrossa (Justin), Anne Torregrossa, Kassie Pearsall Lentz (Jared), Micah Crouch, Kari Crouch, Amelia Crouch, James Davis and Mary Davis; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Sue Milligan and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Crouch; her parents, Beecher & Mary Gentry; brothers, Wendell and Tom Gentry; sisters, Sophie Gentry, Reba Thompson, Nell Dyer, and Oneta Gentry.

A celebration of life service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church in Paducah, KY. on April 1st, 2017 starting at 11am with Rev. Charles Uhlik officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Grace Episcopal Church Memorial Garden. Visitation will be held at the church starting at 10am, one hour before service time begins
