Mary Dixon

Mary Lee Dixon, 54, of Paducah died Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in TN.

Mrs. Dixon was a loving wife, mother, and gran gran. She was a member of Southland Baptist Church and loved fishing and going to yard sales.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Dixon of Paducah; two sons, Chester Dixon of Metropolis, IL, and Brent Dixon of Paducah; one daughter, Mary Lou Jennings of Paducah; three brothers, Marvin, David, and Teddy Newton all of Paducah; two sisters, Suzy Stephens of Paducah, and Debbie Ritcher of MO; grandchildren, JoDale, Marybrooke, Brent Woods, Gage, and Nova; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Newton; mother, Bonnie Louise Campbell; two brothers, Robert and Peanut Newton; and one sister, Bonnie Newton.

Funeral service will be Monday, August 11, 2014 at 1:00PM at Lindsey Funeral Home with Rev. O.D. Joiner officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 5:00-8:00PM at the funeral home.
