Mary Humphreys

Marie Gaines Humphreys, 86, of Paducah died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Mrs. Humphreys was a member and pianist at Southside Baptist Church in Paducah for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy “Cassy” Skelton of Paducah; two grandchildren, Tara Baker and Tana Williams; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rubert H. Humphreys; her parents, Oscar and Maggie Gaines; one son, R. Gregory Humphreys; and three brothers.

Funeral service will be Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 1:00pm at Lindsey Funeral Home, with Richard Skelton officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home.
