Melinda G. (Owings) Spicer

Melinda Owings Spicer, 58, of Brookport, IL passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at her residence.

She worked as a dietician and cook in the healthcare industry.  She was a heroic animal lover and especially loved her cats.

Surviving is her two children, Cody Owings and Malachi Spicer both of Brookport; one brother, Michael Owings of Paducah; five grandchildren, Justin Tate, Ali Wilson, Aubrey Wallis, Harlan Owings, and Millie Owings; two aunts, Mary Jarrett and Galena Gronefeld; and one uncle, Fayburn Gage.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Melissa Keck; and her parents, Teddy Owings and Dorothy Gage Owings.

Friends may visit the family from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Lindsey Funeral Home.
