Melvie Gilbert, 93 of Symsonia passed away Saturday December 19, 2020 at Riverhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation in Paducah.
Melvie was a veteran of WWII, Master Mason and Shriner.
He is survived by three daughters, Wanda Purcell, Brenda Thompson and Sherry Lagore. 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Helen Gilbert. 2 sons, Rufus, Mark and 1 grandson. And his first wife, Mary Lucille Gilbert.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday December 27, 2020. With funeral services at 1 p.m. The Rev. Rick Miller officiating. Interment to follow at Armstrong Cemetery in Grave county
