Melvie Gilbert "Gil" Park

Melvie Gilbert “Gil” Park, 73, of Murray, died on Friday, March 1st, 2019 at Spring Creek Nursing Home of Murray.

Gil was a retired bartender and a member of Free Spirit Biker Church of Paducah.

Gil is survived by two daughters; three sisters, Sherry LaGore of Paducah, Brenda Thompson of Paducah, and Wanda Purcell of Cadiz, KY.; his father, Melvie Gilbert; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Aline Brown Thompson; and two brothers, Rufus and Mark Gilbert.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
