Merle H. Onken

Merle “Butch” Onken, 75, of West Paducah died on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Mr. Onken was a retired Masonry and Member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Margie Onken of West Paducah; one daughter, Julie Whitthorne of Paducah; one brother, Marvin Onken of Piper City, IL; one sister, Arlene Brucker of Cullum, IL; two step-children; one grandson; four step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Ethel Onken; one sister; and one brother.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Wednesday at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Wes Conner and Kenneth Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Brooks Memorial Park.
Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm-8:00pm on Tuesday and from 9:00am to service hour on Wednesday at Lindsey Funeral Home.
