Michael Lawrence, 48 of Gilbertsville, passed away December 24, 2023 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah

Michael was an avid lover of arrowhead hunting. You would find him on the banks of the river rain or shine. He also loved kayaking down the river he would say it’s where he found his peace.

He is survived by a partner of 22 years Wendy Garnett, 2 sons Cole Lawrence (Devin) of Chicago, Illinois and Tyler Lawrence (Chelsea) of Missouri. His mother Carolyn Clark (Del) of Gilbertsville, Kentucky a sister Stacey Story (Andy) of Benton, Kentucky.Step sister Lisa Gibbs of Pilot Oak, Kentucky and Step Brother Robert Gibbs of Illinois. Stepmother Brenda Lawrence of Paducah, Kentucky Grandmother Carolyn J. Lawrence of Benton, Kentucky 3 Aunts Barbara Green of Springville, Tennessee Cathy Story and Connie Peek of Benton, Kentucky. Several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father Ed Lawrence and Grandfather C. J. Lawrence also maternal grandparents Carl and Lucille Duckett.

There will be a memorial held for Michael at a later time as his wishes were for cremation. We would like to have everyone attend his memorial service and can contact his sister via email for arrangements at staceystory15@gmail.com
