Mildred Cozart

Mildred Cozart, 79, of Karnak, died Wednesday, November 18th, 2015 at Daystar Nursing and Rehab of Cairo, IL. Mildred was a retired nurse from Southgate Nursing and Rehab of Metropolis and attended Family Worship Center of Metropolis. Mildred is survived by her husband, James Cozart of Karnak; two daughters, Stacy (Daniel) Bertrand of Grand Chain, and Michelle ( Ben) Skelton of Metropolis; one sister, Susie Isgrigg of Paducah; one brother, Gordan Smith of Brookport; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Magdaline Riley Smith; one sister, Barbara Morehead; one brother, Jack Smith; and one son, Willie Lagore. Memorial services will be held at Family Worship Center on Saturday, November 21st, 2015 at 2pm with Pastor Brenda Rust and Minister Ramona Stacy officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Family Worship Center, 714 Filmore St. , Metropolis, IL. 62960 Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
