Monica Cruce

Michael Cruce, Monica Dee Alvey Cruce, Joshua Michael Cruce and Stephen Caleb Cruce of Benton passed away on October 3, 2014 as a result of an auto accident near Nashville, Tennessee.

Monica Dee Alvey Cruce, 42 was a member of Rosebower Baptist Church. She graduated from Victory Christian Assembly and attended Liberty University.

Surviving are her parents, Morris and Debbie Alvey of Paducah; two sisters, Veronica (Brian) Mitchell of Mt. Juliet, TN and Heather (Chris) Reid of Paducah; Nieces Brittaney (Chris) Bird of Mt. Juliet, Hannah Mitchell of Mt. Juliet; Sofiia Mitchell of Mt. Juliet, and Madison Reid of Paducah; one nephew, Austin Reid of Paducah; one great niece, Mallory Bird of Mt. Juliet; and her grandmother, Delma Brantley of Paducah.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Junior Brantley; and her paternal grandparents, Henry and Orene Alvey.

Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Rosebower Baptist Church, with Rev. Kenneth Puckett and Bro. Justin Mason officiating.

Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening, October 7, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the church.

Memorial contributions in honor of the Cruce family may be made to the Cruce Family Scholarship Fund, c/o Rosebower Baptist Church, 1120 Tyree Road, Paducah KY 42003. Funds will be used for scholarships for students entering the ministry.
