- James A. Toon, 82, of Paducah died Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 11:37 AM at Lourdes Hospital.
Mr. Toon was a retired sanitation worker and a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by one son, Larry Toon; two daughters, Sheila Elaine Jones and Nicole Toon; one sister, Marythelda Cash, and one brother.
He is preceded in death by his father, James A. Toon, Sr., and his mother, Evla Brewer Toon.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m, Saturday September 20, at Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah. Bro. Kendrick Lewis will officiate. Interment will follow at Palestine Cemetery in West Paducah.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 19, at Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah.
