John D. Abanatha, 41, of Paducah, died at 4:03 pm Tuesday at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mr. Abanatha was a automotive mechanic and member of the Sons of the American Legion and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Abanatha, of Paducah, grandparents, Arthur and Nella Mae Litchfield, of Paducah, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Newman Abanatha.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Thursday at Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Rev. Jeff Russell will officiate. There will be no visitation.
