Nellie Ruth (Lee) Pummer

Nellie Ruth Pummer, 88, of Wingo passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023, in Wingo, KY.

Nellie was a homemaker and member of Enon Baptist Church.

Surviving are her four children, Robert (Mary) Pummer of Water Valley, Melissa (Patrick) Carroll of Hastings, MI, Kelly (Kenneth) Cox of Wingo, and Matt (Maria) Pummer of Joppa, IL; two sisters, Martha Porteous and Mary Lynn McDonough both of Daytona Beach, FL; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Gene E. Pummer; her parents, Sam Lee and Ruth Lee; and seven siblings, Henry Lee, John Lee, George Lee, Dee Lee, Sam Lee Jr., Paul Kenneth Lee, Barbara Elliot; and two infant grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Enon Baptist Church Building Fund.
