Nelma Dean (Beckham) King

Nelma Dean King, 94, of Paducah passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Providence Pointe.

Nelma formerly worked at the Florsheim Shoe Factory and was a member of Aldersgate Methodist Church.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her two children, Donna (Roy) Swift of Paducah and Larry King of Kevil; seven grandchildren, Jason (Holly) Taylor, Kristy (Heston) Campbell, Matthew (Tashya) Swift, Michelle (Ryan) Robertson, Brittani (Tommy) Robins, Amanda King, Jennifer King; fifteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John King; one son, Alan King; her parents, George Richard Beckham and Bessie Mable Beckham; and four siblings, Christine Currin, Lillie Frances Griggs, Martha Harper, and Hugh Beckham.

Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Monday, October 31, 2022, at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Sunday or from 9:30am to service hour on Monday at the funeral home.
