Nevada Rue Freeman Lynch, 19, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 22, 2010, at his home in Paducah, Ky.
He triumphed in life with many victories each day. Despite a number of lifelong health issues, he had a happy and full life and displayed love and kindness to everyone he encountered. He was a champion of perseverance and all that is truly important in life. He enjoyed music, NASCAR racing, watching television, computer games, going to school and interacting with his family and friends.
He was a student at Lone Oak High School.
Nevada is survived by his mother, Beverly Burns Lynch of Paducah; his father, Dale Lynch of Paducah; a half-brother, Chance Lynch; his grandmothers, Edna Lynch of Evansville, Ind., and Prudence McKinney of Iuka, Ind.; aunts, Sheila Burdette of Evansville, Ind., Jeannie Davis of Sebree, Ky., and Amy Williams of Mesa, Ariz.; and uncle, Billy Lynch of Tallahassee, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Rue Burns of Smithland, Ky., and Joseph Lynch of Evansville, Ind.
A service celebrating his life will held at Lindsey Funeral Home on Friday morning with visitation from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a service at 11 a.m. with Pastor John Aitken officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Dream Factory.
Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge the memorial service.
