Orman R. Sholar, 91 of West Paducah passed away at 1:40pm Sunday, March 20,2011.
Mr. Sholar was a World War II veteran, servicng in U.S. Navy. He retired from General Motors and attended Bethel Tabernacle.
Surviving are his sister, Edna Grace Sholar Loveless of Mexico, KY and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Roxie Sholar;his wife, Mary Maurine Frick Sholar; stepdaughter Carolyn Skelton;sisters Hilda Sholar Massey Proctor and Ida Sholar Lancaster; and brothers Wesley, Rymon and James Allen Sholar.
Services will be at 2:00pm Thursday at Lindsey Funeral Home, with burial in Mount Kenton Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5:00pm-8:00pm on Wednesday and after 1:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
