Pat Robinson

Pat Robinson, 88, of Paducah, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024.

Pat attended St. Mary Academy before entering the Navy and serving in Guam during the Korean War. He was a machinist, an electrician, and a farmer. After working for the IC Railroad he opened his own machine business where he ultimately retired from building race engines. For someone who lived to make things go fast, he was also great at going slow and will be remembered by those who know him as kind, patient, funny and talented. Pat was a member of St. Francis De Sales Church.

Pat is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Moss Robinson; daughter, Christy (Kevin) Hawkins; grandson, Kian Hawkins; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Pat in death were his parents, Walter Patrick Robinson Sr. “Bus” and Mary Angela Hamel Robinson; sister, Judy (Buddy) Burger.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in memory of Pat Robinson to St. Francis DeSales Parish at 117 S. 5th St., Paducah, KY 42001.

There will be a visitation on Sunday, August 18th, from 2-4pm at Lindsey Funeral home. A service will immediately follow.
