Paul Richard Hayden, 67, of West Paducah died Saturday, May 23, 2009, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at Lindsey Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Paul was a truck driver for over 50 years, most recently with Central Paving Trucking. He enjoyed fishing, was a NASCAR fan and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was also a master barbequer.
Paul is survived by his wife of 18 years, Cynthia Hayden; his mother, Alene Hayden of Paducah; three sons, Craig Hayden of Paducah, Glen Hayden of Sarasota, Fla., and Joey Hayden of Paducah; one stepson, Alan Doom of Chicago; one stepdaughter, Sylvia Doyle of Ledbetter; two grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Michael Hayden and Jeffrey Hayden, both of Paducah, and Gerald Hayden of North Carolina; two sisters, Marilyn Sims and Rachel Moore, both of Paducah; and his former wife, Susan Hayden of Paducah.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Hayden.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 25, 2009, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Lindsey Funeral Home.
