Paul May

Paul Evan May, 90, of Paducah died on Sunday November 2, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.

He was retired from ICC railroad with 34 years of service. He was a marine veteran of WWII and also a member of the Fountain Avenue Methodist Church.

Surviving are one son, Ray Evan May of Hopkinsville; one daughter, Sharon Ellen Browning of Paducah; nine grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Alice Dunlap May; his parents, William Evan May and Edna Lambert May; one son, Larry Paul May; one daughter, Paula Suzette May; two brothers, William “Dub” May and James May; one sister, Alene Anderson; and one great-grandson, Dru Anthony Patterson.

Graveside services will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday November 5, 2014 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Gregory Waldrop officiating.

Friends may call from 5:00pm – 8:00pm on Tuesday at Lindsey Funeral Home.
