Pete Kappas, Sr

Pete Gus Kappas Sr., 67 of Paducah passed away at 10:55 am Monday, May 2, 2011 at his residence.

Mr. Kappas was retired from Atochem North America and was an avid motorcyclist.

Surviving are two sons, Pete (Cyndi) Kappas Jr. and Jim (Holly) Kappas of Paducah; two sisters, Linnie Pauley and Olga Harned, both of Tampa, FL; two grandchildren, Kelsey and Whittney Kappas, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Mary Kappas.

Services will be at 11:00 am Thursday at Maplelawn Park Cemetery Chapel, with Rev. Nelson Shelby officiating. No visitation is scheduled. Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
