Pete Musser, 80, of Ledbetter, passed away at his home on February 24th, 2018. Pete was born on October 8th, 1937 in Mullens, West Virginia to Vernon and Mable Musser. At the age of seventeen in 1954 Pete enlisted with the Army. After serving in the Korean and Vietnam wars, he was honorably discharged being ranked a SSGT Enfantry on December 13th, 1965. He went on to be employed at General Tire plant in Mayfield where he was a supervisor. He was an avid member of the NRA and in his spare time enjoyed building model planes and walking canes. He was also a member of Ohio Valley Baptist Church in Ledbetter, KY.
Pete is survived by his wife of 30 years, Debbie Musser; two children, Mitch (Penny) Leidecker of Ledbetter, and Elizabeth Sicken of West Paducah; four grandchildren, Ricky, Eli, Jasmine, and Peter; four siblings, John Musser, Jim Musser, Paul Musser, and Jenny Powell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Mable Musser; and four siblings, Tiny, Lindey, Billy, and Jessie.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, March 2nd, 2018 at Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah from 11am until 1pm. Funeral services will start at 1pm on Friday following visitation with Pastor Wayne Jones and Pastor Terry Mitcheson officiating. Burial will follow in Fooks Cemetery in Possum Trot, KY.
