Philip Ebert Boyd

Philip Boyd, 85, of Paducah, died Tuesday morning, August 15th, 2017 at Life Care Center of La Center, Ky. Mr. Boyd was former owner of Boyd Insurance Agency of Paducah. He is also a lifelong member of Concord United Methodist Church of Paducah.

Mr. Boyd is survived by five children, Ron Hyatte of Kevil, Ky., Diane Boyd of St. Petersburg, Fl., Dee Gordy of Benton, Ky., Dennis Boyd of Owasso, Ok., and Keith Boyd of Old Hickory, Tn.; two sisters, Isabelle Quinn of Princeton, Ky., and Sue White of Lexington, Ky.; twenty grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Yates Boyd; his parents, Oscar and Pearl Stallins Boyd; and five siblings.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday, August 17th, 2017 at Lindsey Funeral Home from 5pm until 8pm. Funeral services will be Friday, August 18th, 2017 at Lindsey Funeral Home starting at 12 noon with Brother Mike Boyd officiating. Entombment will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.
